“It’s research, will of telling with dramatically devoid of words tools, able to restore the essential vision of reality…”. So Francesco Casarotto, of Vicentian origin (Italy), talks about his approach to photography.
People and the discovery of their identity – meant as precious good to be offered to the World – are the main subjects of his images. Starting from these preliminary remarks, Casarotto works – with devotion and deep will of knowledge – to show such peculiarities.
For a long time engaged in Social Organisations, in 2003 he carried out Diversamente Sport, a report on disability, later published in the homonymous exhibition held by the Mondadori bookshop in Arzignano (refer to the EVENTS section of this website).
Passion for travelling represents for Casarotto an important source of inspiration, which has carried him to the creation of travel portfolios.
Even with a careful look at the human realities, Casarotto doesn’t disdain landscapes photography, meant as an individual need of nearness to the earth.
